Healthcare benchmarking 2024: ratings and reviews

Introduction

You always search for online reviews before going to a new restaurant or a yoga studio you’ve never been to before.

Of course, you’ll always choose the location with 4.7 stars from 500 reviews instead of the one with the 4.3 score from 100 reviews.

But how much attention do you pay to feedback when it comes to health?

As a patient, you should be directly interested in how a clinic or pharmacy treats the people who come to them. As a business owner or a specialist in the healthcare field, take that interest and multiply it by 10.

Why review monitoring is important in the healthcare and medical industry

No matter if you run a private practice, a clinic or a pharmacy, one thing is certain: people come to you because they need your help.

Healthcare is an industry like no other, which means that businesses in the medical field have to pay special attention to how their clients feel about their experience.

Unlike other products and services that cater more to what customers want, the offerings provided by the healthcare industry are for what people need.

When it comes to your health, you don’t want to take any risks. So if you think about the fact that 49% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations from friends and family, you realize that customer feedback matters even so much more for the healthcare and medical industry.

If you want to make sure that your medical practice, clinic or pharmacy has an outstanding brand online reputation and that people come to you in a moment of need, it’s time to start thinking about how you monitor and manage your online reputation.
