FeedCheck 2024: Our Year in Review

As 2024 is soon coming to an end, we’re reflecting on what made this year so special for FeedCheck. It’s been a rollercoaster of growth, experimentation and changes, full of gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead. Here is a glimpse of our year:

Marketing and sales experiments

We feel this year has been more daring on the marketing and sales fronts, with us being more open to trying new things and seeing what can come of bold experiments. From consistent communication strategies, to testing different ad platforms, to trying new ideas (and seriously, we never run out of those), we kept pushing to see what resonates. 

One of the highlights has been launching our educational partnership. By giving students access to tens of millions of real-world customer reviews, they can analyze the data from different perspectives, helping them tackle academic projects of any size. This partnership enables students to gain hands-on experience with customer sentiments and review monitoring and get a sense of how to use qualitative and quantitative analysis. And, of course, if they remember us down the line when they become industry leaders themselves, that wouldn’t hurt.

Our sales department was hard at work this year and had some great results. We’ve managed to strengthen relationships with long-term customers, improve our customer service through more regular interactions, and experiment with new techniques to reach and help even more businesses. Each of these efforts has brought us closer to our goal of being the go-to review aggregation and monitoring tool for brands worldwide.

Product updates 

Let’s not forget the many updates our product team has introduced this year. We further developed our customizable widgets for more options suitable for every need. With seven different types to choose from – grids, carousels, histograms, and even a review submission form – you have full control over how you showcase all your reviews on your own website. Everything is fully customizable, from fonts to colors and widget sizes, ensuring they seamlessly match your brand’s look and feel. These widgets pull reviews from every platform you sell on, aggregating feedback into one place, so customers can easily get the full picture without hopping between sites.

We added the AI assistant widget as a game-changing tool powered by generative AI, taking review analysis to the next level. It acts like your personal feedback analyst, answering specific questions about your products and uncovering trends and patterns across reviews from multiple platforms. Think similar to Amazon’s “Looking for specific info?” search button, but better – offering insights from all the aggregated product reviews from all your platforms, enhancing your product’s credibility. Setting these up is a breeze, and the AI assistant is included with all subscriptions, though some limitations may apply. 

You may have noticed the new Ask AI feature, which allows the FeedCheck user to ask any questions they want and receive a generated response based on the product reviews on the platform, giving brands more personalized ways of interacting with their feedback and finding out exactly what they need. Pair that with our new signals report alerting FeedCheck users to sudden changes and anomalies in review data, and you have the perfect review monitoring and brand reputation management tool, perfect for staying on top of trends. And to top it all off, we improved our API, enabling easier integration and providing access to even more data for our clients.

Our benchmark pages now offer comprehensive average ratings across industries, serving as a valuable resource for businesses to assess their performance against industry standards. Whether you’re in consumer goods or business services, these insights provide a clear view of your brand’s reputation, helping you understand where you truly stand and identify areas for improvement. By leveraging this data, businesses can make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

New product alert

We also developed FastCompete, a cutting-edge price monitoring tool designed to help brands and retailers stay competitive in an ever-changing marketplace. This platform allows businesses to track the prices at which products are sold across multiple e-tailers, providing insight into the most competitive pricing strategies. It’s a must-have for businesses looking to stay ahead of the game and navigate pricing strategies effectively.

Great team, great year

One of the most significant changes has been within our dynamic team. We’ve grown – not just in numbers, but in the way we work together. Adding new members to the team has improved our operations, created a smoother workflow, and fostered a more cohesive environment. With new initiatives and ideas flying around every week, we’ve managed to attend exciting events, meet incredible people, and elevate everything we do. We’re finding our rhythm, and it feels great.

Beyond the work, we’ve focused on building a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated. Whether it’s working outside on sunny days, cooking and sharing meals together, pancake nights and Pizza Fridays, we’ve embraced small traditions that make a big difference. These moments of connection and joy remind us why we love what we do and the people we do it with.
